About Us
SoCal Persian American Medical Association is an IRS 501(c) approved non-profit physician membership organization. We are composed of healthcare professionals of Persian/ American heritage, who are interested in Persian culture, and live and work in Southern California. We are led by a Board of Directors composed of seven volunteer members and are a Non-Political and Non-Religious organization. Potential members and leaders are always welcome.

We offer unique opportunities for medical professionals to socialize, network and exchange ideas with peers in a friendly, unbiased environment. Our mission is to cultivate a cohesive community while providing members with the knowledge and connections they need to succeed in the changing health industry landscape.

In March 2016, SoCal Persian American Medical Association and our President, Dr. Bahman Bandari, were awarded the Certificate of Congressional Recognition for its outstanding leadership and contribution to the medical community with sincere appreciation of it's commitment to patients and families.
