Dr. Markzar graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Biochemistry. He then continued his education at the USC School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery and Oral Medicine. After he graduated, he completed postgraduate work in Advanced Periodontology, Oral Implantology and Surgery at USC. But Dr. Markzar did not stop there. Because he wanted to learn more about the skull and facial bone structure in order to better inform his surgical decisions, he earned a Master of Science degree in Craniofacial Biology from USC.
